Dr. Matt Walz

Matthew Walz is a PhD graduate at Binghamton University studying political science. He is currently the lead data scientist- consumer and market intelligence- for General Mills. Previously he taught election forecasting, statistics, and programming in R and Python to both undergraduates and graduates at Binghamton University. His research centers on applying tools developed in machine learning to the social sciences, currently in relation to dimensionality reduction tasks.
